typhoon is coming
13th of July, Saturday, Typhoon
The electricity went out due to the fact that the typhoon has come. The heavy rain and stong wind prevented us from going out.So basically, everyone just stayed at room to play games or play playing cards. And we can't use computers without electricity and Internet so that I felt very bored. Luckily, about 5:00 pm the power was working again and everyone was very happy. At night, we had a group discussion about the project in order to decide the topic.During the discussion, the electricity went out again. However, we still discussed our the topic of the project until the topic was decided.

Phoenix tea plantation and bamboo products and marketing

we are at Phoenix tea garden already today.The teacher gave us a brief description about tea firstly. Then the teacher showed us tea tree and explained how it works.After this, we had a lecture about arts of tea brewing tea,which was conducted by miss Dai.In addition, she showed us how to make tea with right way.
When I finished making tea, I went to my bedroom to pack my luggage and took it to bus.Then we were going to have a lunch.After lunch, we would visit bamboola. In the bamboola, there were different kinds of bamboo furniture, which were amazing.

Endemic Specimen research Institute And Diversity of bats

After breakfast,everyone brought all the stuff on the bus.And then we were going to endemic specimen research institute and see diversity of bats.
In the specimen research institute, we had lectures about bats.The lecture about bats was very good because it can enrich my knowledge. After lecture, we had a lunch in endemic specimen research institute.
In the afternoon, we went to conservation education center and temple remains.In the conservation education center, there were different kinds of sample animals.

Shueili Wood Utilization Center and Tissue box DIY
10th of July, Wednesday, Sunny.
I have arrived at Shueili where I will stay for two days.In the morning, we learned how to make tissue box with wood.Making tissue box I think is not hard but is funny. we spent the whole morning making tissue boxes but hasnot finished it.
In the afternoon, we needed to carry on making tissue boxes.When I finished making tissue boxes, we then went to see the wood utilization practice factory.At night,we were watching video about how stuff works.Basically, we took one hour watching and went back to sleep.That is all.

Saideke tribe and hunting traps
9th of July, Tuesday,Sunday
The wifi in Sitou is not good because my computer cannot connect wifi in my bedroom.And I have to go to the hall so that my computer can use internet to keep a diary.Anyway,this morning I watched the video about Saideke tribe and then tried some relevant classical dress, which were very nice.
After finishing watching video, the original people was showing us about how to make hunting traps.The hunting traps basically is made of trees, stones and ropes.
In the afternoon, we were going to Chuenyang Sub-farm after a lunch.When I got to there,we picked some tomatoes to eat.And we took the bus for Shueili. That is all.

Hehuan Shan and video watching
08th of July, Monday,Sunny.
There was bird watch in the morning from 06:00 to 08:00 so that I had to get up very early.We used telescope to observe the bird.During the bird watch,I knew more about bird and this increased my knowledge.
After this, I was going to have a breakfast.The breakfast had egg, porridge,peanut and so on.then we were taken to see Meifeng farm.There were many many plants, vegetables and flowers available to see.
In the afternoon, we were going to plug seeding planting, sugar-beet harvesting and juice making.Seeding planting is very interesting and significant.And then,I with my team members made juice using fruit and vegetable.

Bilu Sacred tree and Meifeng Farm
06th of July, Saturday, sunny
I still got up very early in the morning and had a breakfast quickly.Then we got on the bus with stuff. We went to Bilu sacred tree, which was very big and old.And we took bus to Meifeng farm. When we arrived at Meifeng farm and sort out stuff in the hotel.After this, we were going to have a dinner. At dinner, Jack said we would have a lecture at 7:20.oh, my god. I was really tired so that I didnot want to go. I just wanted to lie on the bed and keep a diary.But actually, I attended a lecture because it is compulsory for everyone to attend a lecture.
Approximate 9:00, the lecture was finished finally, which is brilliant.Then I went back my bedroom and took a shower to be ready for sleeping.

Taroko national park and swallow grotto and nine turns trail
5th of June, Friday, Sunny
Today we went to Taroko National Park, the famous national park of Taiwan.
In the morning, we visited a gorgeous trail- Sakadong trail. The trail is easy but with amazing views.
There were lots of special plants, like Dr. Choung mentioned, we saw different kinds of fern, trees, and flowers. That is really nice though I don't learn any about this before.
On the other hand, the most interesting part of Sakadong trail must be playing in the river. There is a small safe pond at the end of the trail that we could get inside. The cold water definitely is the best thing of the humid and hot summer.
After lunch, we went to swallow grotto, Hulda dropped her helmet at the beginning. The liwu river make an awesome masterpiece that Taroko canyon is so unique. The power of Mother Nature is unlimited.

King car orchid park and clingshui cliff
I got up very early at 6:00 because our breakfast time was from 6:40 to 7:40.So basically, I felt very tired without enough time to sleep.
In the morning, we went to King car Orchid park.There were different kinds of plants and flowers which were beautiful.We spent 2 hours staying there.The company we visited is quite famous in Taiwan, which produces some goods and see it all over the world.
Then, we were going to Cingshui cliff, the view of Cingshui cliff is amazing.But the wind was very
strong so that my umbrella was broken. We just took some pictures and then to take a bus for beach..
When I got to the beach, I was very excited and happy because I donot often see the sea.

Gold Ecological Park, Jiufen viliiage and shifen
3rd of June, Wednesday, sunny
From today on , we will be out for the next 2 weeks. So basically, we have been to Gold ecological park and Jiufen village already. We went to Gold ecological park in the morning by bus.we were required to meet at 07:40 in seven eleven. I think it is quite early to meet.Anyway, we finally arrived at gold ecological park by bus. In the gold ecological park, we visited some classical Japanese house, practiced how to get golden sand.I find it very interesting and easy to get golden sand.
In the afternoon, we were in Jiufen viliiage.There were a variety of shops in Jiufen viliiage. I tried some of shops and took some pictures.

Jingshan Blue dye,Dhama Drum Mountain and Juming Museum
2nd of July, Tuesday, Sunny
Today we did three activities such as Jingshan Blue dye,Dhama Drum Mountain and Juming Museum In the morning, we went to Jinshan for dying cloth, which is my first time to dye cloth in my life as well.The following picture shows the cloth we did. It is easy to see that its colour is blue and there are different kinds of patterns on it.

Then,we were going to visit Dhama Drum Mountain and have a lunch in the Mountain. The Dhama Drum inside was amazing because it was very modern, large and quite.In addition, I saw a great number of monks on the mountain. The tour guide told how to make wishes in proper way before Guanyin. When it was nearly 12 clock, she told us we should go to have a lunch. Before lunch, she told me some rules about how to eat lunch.
we came to see Juming museum finally, which is very interesting and attractive.Having a look at the below picture somebody took. Chenhao and I copied the soldier statues.

Yeliu Geology park and Fisheries research institute
1st of July, Monday, Sunny.
In the morning, I went to Yeliu Geology park with all other classmates.Mr. Zhang guided us to see Yeliu Geology park. In the park, the landscape was amazing.For instance, clear blue sea and different kinds of mushroom rocks made me impressed.There are some pictures showing some mushroom rocks like queen rocks.Obviously, the queen rock is very nice.There were many people who would like to take pictures with it.

Free day
30th of June, Sunday , Sunny
Today is free day and we can do what we want to do. Therefore I went to Danshui with other three people(chenhao, zhangyinjie, and xiaoyuting)by Tube.before taking the tube, we went to DingTai Feng for a Lunch, which is very famous restaurant in Taiwan.I think the food is very nice and cool. Then we went to underground station for Danshui. Basically,it took half hour to get there.
When I got off from the tube, I noticed that there were many many people coming to here. Hence, the Danshaui is nice place and popular tourist attraction to visit. In addition, there were many shops in DanShui like night market. I tired some food and played some games like gun shooting. In this game, Chenhao shot all of targets and so obviously he is good at gun shooting.After this, I was going to another place with them by boat. We rented a bike for four people only, which is very interesting. This is my first time to ride this kind of bike.
Today is free day and we can do what we want to do. we arrived at coast in Danshui by bike and I was very excited to see such a beautiful sea, which is amazing. Finally, we had a dinner in KTV of Ximen Ding called Xinju dian. The dinner is buffet in KTV. We had another three people to come to KTV, who were from NTU as well. But they graduated this year. They sang songs very well so that I felt shy not to sing songs in KTV. Hence,the students in NTU are not only good at working and also playing.To sum up, they work hard, play harder.

nice food

The weather is still very hot today. I went to Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines this morning in order to know about original people who live in TaiWan. There are many different kinds of Formosan aborigines pictures showing in the museum. After this, we went to a restaurant which is near national palace museum. I ordered beef dishes which was very nice and finished all. I think everyone enjoy this lunch.Finishing lunch, we were going to national palace museum. In the museum, I saw a great number of valuable objects which are famous all over the world.
At night,everyone went to shiling night market to eat food.When I came to night market, I saw many many many eateries there. I went into a eatery and ordered a pig blood, snalils and smelly tofu. All of them were very nice.

china I made

I was late for NTU that's becuase I thought it was 8:40,but actually I it was 8:30. Basically, it's embarrassing to be late in front of everyone haha. Anyway, today I had two lectures about Taiwan'rural society and experimental design. But the Taiwan's rural society was cancelled because of unexpected something happened. .
In the afternoon, I went to Yingge ceramics museum to make china on my own.I think it is very interesting and meaningful. The china I made is not good compared to other classmates who did.Looking at china JiLing and Ruby made are very good. So obviously the china I made is quite worse.This is because this is my first time to make.

Very Tired

Today I had no lectures,Instead, I went to Yangmingshan and arrived at the top of mountain. The landscape in Yangmingshan is very nice and beautiful. On the way to it, I saw different kinds of trees and plants. What's more, seeing from the top of mountain, I am able to see everything of Taipei, which is amazing. In total, I spent 4 hours for hiking so that I was very tired. Although it was hard, it was worth of doing that.
Anyway, after hiking, I went to Beitou hot spring museum.The hot spring was built long long ago and so it has a long history.I really wanted to try hot spring but unfortunately,we did not have enough time to do that. I hope if had a chance, I would try it.

The beautiful coast

The weather is still very hot today so that my skin got burnt when I came bock NTU. Basically, I went to National Museum of Science and Technology and the northeast coast by a bus.
The first place I went to was National Museum of Science and Technology where there were different kinds of fishes and other sea animals. In the Museum, I saw a great number of huge fishes like sharks.This is my first time to see such huge fishes, which is unbelievable.....
After this, we were coming to the coast and we discovered a great number of sea animals such as sea star

Farm practice and dangerous night frog observation

I have come to Taipei for three days so far. Today, I went to rice paddies to practice how to make rice in the morning and went to a park for frog observation at night, both of which are new experiences for me.
In the price paddies,Mr Li showed everyone how to cut rice in the paddies before we start to do that. In the rice paddies, everyone tired to cut rice and I also tried to cut rice.I think it is very easy but hard as well to cut rice in the filed. One simple reason is for that the weather is very hot so that the sweat was pouring off me by the end of farm practice. Another simple is reason is for it that I do not need spend too much time and make lots of effort cutting it basically. Anyway, I really enjoyed farm practice.
Moreover,It is easy to see in the following photo that everyone worn a big hat and had a knife for farm practice, who looks very cool basically.
